We stayed for a weekend in an apartment at Mooi Texel, and the owner gave us a very warm welcome. It’s wonderfully quiet despite being close to the town center: the beach is a five-minute walk away, the woods are one minute away, and the shopping street is two minutes away. The apartment is spacious enough for two people and possibly a dog. We brought a large dog crate, which fit perfectly in the living room. Everything was very clean, and the bed was nicely firm. Highly recommended for a stay in De Koog.
