We were four people with two dogs, and there was lots of room around the house for parties and barbecues, sheltered from the wind. Inside, the living and dining area was very cozy, with the kitchen opening into it. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of space for cooking and living. The new house was fully equipped, with a whirlpool and sauna as well. Picking up the key at 3 p.m. was easy.
We’re very happy with the beautiful, well-equipped houses. It’s a lovely little park, and the gate is locked to keep out people who don’t need to be there.
Fresh bread rolls were delivered to a box outside the house every morning, which I really appreciated. The garden looked out over a horse farm, and that view was especially lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house had pretty much everything we needed for a vacation. I did find a few shortcomings, though I know I’m being picky: the mirror was rusty, the shower head was nearly falling apart, and cleanliness could have been better. Those were enough for me to take off one star. I’d still vacation there again, since we spent most of our time outside the house anyway.
The house smelled awful when we walked in, and there were spiders and other insects everywhere. The bed linen was dirty, the shower head was broken, and there wasn’t any toilet paper, towels, or even soap. I wouldn’t recommend it.
We’ve stayed at Villapark Waddenstaete for a second time, and loved it again. So far, we’ve been in houses 324 and 312, both ideal for a relaxing Texel holiday. They’re cozy, thoughtfully furnished, and very clean. The small park has a lovely intimate feel, and everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back soon.
