Anita was a wonderful host during our lovely two-night stay, and even offered us rides to the local bus station and flower market. Getting to Amsterdam central takes about an hour, though the place is convenient for schifol. A heads-up about the layout: the inside stairs are very steep, so they may not work for very young or older guests. There’s only one bathroom, accessed through the kitchen, and the toilet has no wash basin.

The stairs are very narrow, so this may not be a good fit for older guests. The house itself is beautiful and spread over two floors. Downstairs there’s a living room with a dining area, one bedroom, a shared toilet and bath, and a well-equipped kitchen. The other two bedrooms are upstairs. I’d recommend it as a place to enjoy a holiday.

A clean, lovely country house, and the host was very friendly. I’d recommend it to other travelers.
