The hotel looks a little dated at first, but the calm atmosphere and spot on the main square make up for that. My room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were lovely. Great value for the money.

We had a lovely stay in Deventer. The staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and the hotel is right by the town square, where there’s plenty going on. One thing that bothered us was the noise from the room doors. When the neighbors shut theirs, it was loud enough to hear in our room.

The friendly staff and good location were the bright spots. My room was clean and warm, and breakfast was a standard buffet. I slept badly because I could clearly hear people upstairs and noise from outside, even with the windows shut on the second floor. The pillows were uncomfortable too, and I woke with a stiff neck. Those are serious problems for me, since getting a decent night's sleep is the main thing I need from a hotel.

The food was the real highlight. I’d go for the mixed starter, fish mains, T-bone steak, desserts, and special coffees. I can’t rave about it enough! It’s a lovely little find in a central spot. The welcome and staff were fabulous, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable. I stayed somewhere pricier and more exclusive last time, and it was amazing, but the coat hangers didn’t match, lol. I’ll definitely come back if they’ll have us. Thanx!
