B & B De Lijsterhof

Breakfast arrived fresh and generous at our door each morning, with coffee capsules included for the machine in the room. The room also had a small kitchenette, and the house has a shared kitchen and a lovely terrace. The room itself was good and as described. It’s a great B&B in a beautiful old house. It might work well for family gatherings, and we’d gladly stay again.

Zeayou Zeeland made everything easy with friendly service and contactless arrangements by phone and email. The apartment was super cool, with a great kitchen, comfortable bed, and fantastic terrace and view. It’s right in the center, five minutes from the beach, with a great organic bakery downstairs and delicious bread.

The room was comfortable, with a lovely big bed, tea and coffee facilities, and a nice bathroom with a great shower. We had a delicious breakfast at the neighbors, De Melksalon. There are plenty of nice shops and restaurants on the same street, and the beach is a five-minute walk away. We stayed one night on the top floor. Online check-in took a bit of getting used to, but we managed. The stairs are numerous, the final one is quite steep, and part of the railing is missing. The first step is higher than the others, too. On the landing, there’s a nearly invisible carpeted threshold that’s hard to see in the evening. A strip light would help. We had trouble finding the parking spot behind an empty building. A photo of the building or a clear number 8 would make it easier. Greetings from two friends from Son.

The location is excellent, right in town and by the beach, and the free parking about 200m away is a real plus in Domburg, where parking is expensive. Contactless service worked smoothly as described on the website. Room 2 was very clean, practically new and comfortably furnished, with a refrigerator. Breakfast came in a bag to the door and was plentiful for €16 per person. The rolls and croissants were fresh, though one would have been enough for us since we don’t eat large breakfasts. Everything came in plastic containers, which didn’t seem very environmentally conscious. The coffee machine also isn’t working properly and should be replaced.
