The pancakes were great, and they fixed it quickly when our breakfast was forgotten. The water tastes bad, though, and the decor is so-so. But what can you expect for the price? It used to be a house, so noisy neighbours are part of the deal.

It’s a charming, friendly family hotel, and dogs are welcome in the restaurant, which was fantastic for us. There were several dogs around, all well-behaved and no trouble at all. The beach and grassy walking areas are close by. Dogs can be off leash on the beach until May 1st, and after that from 7:00 PM. There are plenty of bins too. Private parking is a short ten-minute walk away and costs a reasonable fee.

The room had a new, modern bathroom, and we enjoyed the balcony and sunshine from the garden chair. Our only personal downside was that it was too small for our dog. Breakfast in the picnic basket was excellent and had everything we wanted. The hosts were very kind and accommodating, and communication before the stay was friendly, with even our special requests taken care of. The location is fantastic, right beside the beach and only a few hundred meters from the town centre.
