The worst service I’ve experienced so far, even compared with hostels. On the phone I was constantly interrupted, and the replies to my emails were standardized copy-paste messages that didn’t answer my questions or requests.

The beachside location is excellent, and the rooms are roomy with a microwave, hot plates, crockery and cutlery, a Nespresso machine, kettle, and more. Staff from both the “Breakfast” and “Rooms” departments were friendly and keen to help. There’s a garage, dogs are welcome, and drinks are available for a fee from the refrigerator in the breakfast area. Breakfast is included and enough for everyone, making this a relaxing place for a few days or longer. A few things to know: Reception is around the corner from the hotel and can be seen from rooms facing the back. It’s open by phone until 6:00 PM, which would’ve been useful to know before booking. The toilet roll was attached to the wall in an odd way. There’s no Smart TV for Netflix, no double mattress, no bath, and no dog basket or dishes.

The rooms are very clean and modern, with a small kitchenette, and the hotel sits right behind the dunes. Breakfast was modest but good. The unusual part is checking in at a neighboring hotel, since there aren’t any staff on site.
