Hotel In den Brouwery

We chose Hotel In Den Brouwery knowing some reviews called it dated, and there’s truth to that. The old wooden floor creaked in places, and the facilities weren’t new, though it is a 3-star hotel. Still, our ground-floor family suite was spacious and comfortable for two adults, a child and a dog, and clean too. There was even a table right outside. It wasn’t very private, but the curtains blocked most of the light and views. We had no trouble with noise, even sleeping with the windows open. The hotel is roughly ten minutes from the beach, and breakfast was decent with a good variety, nothing fancy. Service was a mix: some more experienced staff had particular ideas about the rules and weren’t shy about voicing them at breakfast. They weren’t complaining about us, and they were kind to us as well, so it was all fine. It’s a decent mid-range option in Domburg with plenty of character. Book it as a quirky place and you won’t be disappointed :) 4/5
