Hotel De Villa

The old mansion has lovely character, and the shared areas feel fresh and stylish. Arjan was welcoming, and dinner was delicious, especially the kangaroo steak with Pomerol red wine. It also wasn't very expensive, which was a nice change. I stay in hotels often and rarely leave reviews, but this one is well worth a visit.

The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, and the long bar offered all the coffee options you'd want, plus draft beer and other spirits later in the day. Lunch and dinner had lots of choices for different food needs, with quick, reliable service from the wait staff. Our room had everything we needed. This family-owned hotel is well run, with excellent staff and facilities. It's beside a nice park and has an outdoor patio too. The elevator was a real help for one person in our group of four couples. We had a wonderful stay, and it's definitely a good choice if you're in the area.

The beds weren't especially comfortable, and the room looked a little dated. One window wouldn't close properly, leaving a slight draft, though the thick curtains and adjustable heating helped. The location is great for exploring nearby, especially with Efteling theme park so close. Breakfast and the restaurant were nice.

The quiet was the best part for me. After a long day of travelling and work, you really need that on a business trip. The hotel is cozy and clean, the food at breakfast and dinner was really nice, and the staff were polite and professional. I also really liked the elevator, you'll be surprised how cool it is.
