We’d gladly stay here again. Our pitch was on veld (field) A, near the pool, bar, playground, tennis court, and restaurant. The shower block there was clean every time and never busy. Showers were free, with hot water on a six minute timer. The heated pool was pleasant later in the day, and the kids were happy to swim for hours. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. The cafe and restaurant served good food at reasonable prices. There’s no shop on site, but Doorn is only a five minute drive away and has decent supermarkets.

My brother and I stayed at Bonte Vlucht for a couple of days before having to leave early. We couldn’t get a refund, but the service was kind and considerate. They gave us written confirmation that we could have an apartment for the remaining days if we returned to Bonte Vlucht. It’s a good option if you want an apartment with a kitchen, living room, bathroom or bathrooms, and a balcony.

The setting is outstanding, and the amenities are well looked after. The kids should enjoy the pool in summer. It’s really nice here when they aren’t busy building new chalets.

The natural park and forest make this feel like a fairy tale setting. There’s plenty for kids to do, plus a pool, tennis court, and gym, with professional staff always ready to help. Service is outstanding. A great place for a holiday or a second home. Highly recommended.
