The antipasti was incredible and great value for the money. There’s a cool restaurant, a lovely little garden, and a shop selling all kinds of food and cooking products. Such an amazing place, honestly worth a visit.

The view from the lantern room is unmatched, and I really liked that it had both heating and cooling. The location and beautiful gardens give this hotel so much potential to feel more luxurious, but the thrifted furniture and cheap wall prints didn’t make it feel like a great home away from home. The bed in the lantern room was extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was also short on dairy-free choices, even though they knew about that before we arrived.

The restaurant is cozy and lively, and the setting is one of a kind. They use fresh vegetables from their own garden each day, and you can taste the difference. There’s also a shop area where you can buy the delicious treats.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Agusta, though the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The Christmas breakfast buffet was very good, but €98 for two people felt ridiculous, especially since tea, coffee and juice were charged separately at €8 each. At €40 per person with unlimited coffee and juice, the price would have felt acceptable.

A peaceful place for a meal, with lovely gardens and a relaxing setting. We tried the soup and eggs Florentine; they were okay, though the food wasn’t as exciting as the surroundings.
