We had a huge breakfast in the morning, and the rooms were both in great shape, very new and well maintained. Four of us slept across the two rooms, and each had its own bathroom and a large twin bed. The "Bij" (bee) room has a real beehive behind glass, so you can watch the bees from inside. From the "Boom" (tree) room you can see the tree house, and you can open the window and go into it if you like. A B&B I’d recommend to anyone.

The owners were very friendly, and breakfast was great. The treehouse is lovely to see and experience, too. I also had a laugh about sleeping next to the Queen, even though my girlfriend says I always do that. If you fancy a walk in the beautiful 'Frisian' countryside, this is a top spot.

We spotted four deer early in the evening while staying in the "Boom" room, with its lovely treehouse. Such a unique experience in a peaceful setting. Everything was clean and well cared for, and the B&B is beautifully decorated. Hostess Karin's delicious breakfast was a lovely way to wake up. Charming place, highly recommended!

We stayed a night in the 'Boom' themed room and left feeling completely relaxed. It was a lovely room with a view, in a good location, and breakfast was delicious, with everything you could want. Bij en Boom is a great base for visiting Drachten while still getting away from the city's bustle. Karin and Bart make the stay welcoming and carefully looked after. Definitely recommend it to anyone after that kind of stay. I’ll be back!

That glass panel looking onto the bee family made our night in the "Bee" room really special. The bed was comfortable, and the generous breakfast with homemade honey was the perfect touch. We had a wonderful one-night stay.
