Vakantiepark Westerbergen

The campsite itself is lovely, but the toilets were really dirty and dated, especially the family bathroom. My two-year-old had been playing outside all day and needed a wash, but the state of the bathroom was awful. We’ve stayed at several campgrounds around the Netherlands this past week, and this isn’t one I’d return to.

The only drawback for me was the price of extending a longer stay. I’d hoped there might be a small discount if you were already there and wanted to add, say, another week, though I realize my situation was probably unusual. Still, I’d absolutely recommend this place, just leave one bungalow free for me ^.^ I spent two weeks here as an artist looking for inspiration and motivation, and loved it. The staff were kind and helpful, and even the cleaners from the house next door smiled at me in the morning. My accommodation was cozy, spotless, and had plenty of room for my things. The dining area was wonderful too, with very fair prices.

We’ve stayed here four years running for Moto GP in Assen, and we’ll be back next year. The rented house was very good, and the location is perfect. Service and hospitality are excellent, with very friendly staff. Everything you need is here, plus a little more.

A short, lovely, affordable family break in a leafy, relaxing park. We couldn’t get the bungalow heating started, so we called the desk. A staff member came over within minutes, even though it was pouring rain, and helped us switch it on. The desk staff were friendly and very helpful.
