8/10
For what it costs, this is a great place to stay, and the location is really nice. Ede centre is literally a five-minute walk away. We paid for a basic double room, and the beds were very comfortable; there’s also a balcony with two chairs. The bathroom is dated, but fair enough for the price. The bath plug was too small, so I had to keep the water running while I was in the tub. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

The location was superb for shops, restaurants, and bars, and I used it as a base for visiting the Battle of Arnhem sites around the area. Staff were really friendly. The rooms are basic but adequate, with a comfy bed and decent shower. Breakfast is continental only, though that was adequate too.

The rooms were cold when we arrived, with outside temperatures around freezing Point. Air trapped in the pipes had blocked the heating system. The staff hadn’t noticed while preparing the room, and during our three-day stay they only partly fixed it. They also didn’t check the service personnel’s work. The hotel offers basic services, and the staff were friendly, but not fully attentive.

The hotel is a little old, but the people working here clearly want guests to have a really nice stay. It’s very clean, the staff are super friendly, and it’s very central to the city. I’m staying here right now and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Rooms are really clean and a good size, with a nicely sized bedroom and bathroom. The buffet breakfast has almost everything, and the hotel is close to the city centre, so everything is nearby. It’s the best value for a stay in this town. The one issue is that there are no directions from Ede Centrum Train Station, though a map solves that.
