Erve Wisselink Wijngaard

Our camping spot among the vines was beautiful, and we got to learn about the winery as well. We felt very warmly welcomed and enjoyed the atmosphere and surroundings. Be sure to try the snacks and drinks on the terrace, too.

We were in the row numbered 23 to 28, and that pitch made a big difference to our review. At the back of the campsite it was quiet, with a beautiful view of the vineyards. The walk to the sanitary building is a little long, but that didn’t bother us. The facilities were clean and fine, and the bar area is a nice spot for a drink.

The owner and hostess was very nice, and the sanitary facilities looked good. We camped one night among the vines, which was amazing. There’s electricity and water at the pitch.

The last evening was the highlight of our four days at Erve Wisselink: a five-course wine and food dinner among the vines. Forty of us sat at long tables that were beautifully set, and every dish was delicious and special. Chef Marloes, hostess Anouk, and their team made it a memorable evening, with each course paired with wine from the surrounding vines. The weather was glorious, and rain was forecast for 9 p.m. Dessert was already planned, and the timing was spot on. Around our caravan we had lots of space and the vineyards, though the chickens were so curious we had to keep the doors shut. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return to this campsite.
