Het Wapen van Enkhuizen

The dinner was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and helpful, but that alone won’t make me want to return soon. I’d consider this hotel if there were no rooms available elsewhere, though I’m not keen to go back. The rooms and bathroom are outdated, and the bathroom in particular looks like it belongs in the 1980s. The beds were actually very good, even for me at over 190 cm tall, since I often have to make do with a short bed. Breakfast wasn’t available before 8 am, which is much later than average, so the staff prepared a lunch package instead. Of course, that didn’t come with coffee.

Friendly staff or owners, I wasn’t sure which. The breakfast was good, and the room had air conditioning. It was fine and had what I’d expect from a three-star hotel. Good value for money.

The hotel keepers were really nice. Our room was a good size for two, fairly clean, and had a fly screen, which was a great bonus. All in all, it was a good stay.

Good, friendly service and comfortable beds. The hotel was nice, though the bathrooms could use some improvement.
