Bospark De Schaapskooi

The place is literally in the middle of nowhere, and we were freezing. At 5 a.m. we woke up to a room at just 18°C. No matter what we tried, the thermostat kept resetting to the same temperature. We turned it all the way up, maxed out the radiators, and shut every door, but it still didn't help.

The kids' play areas were good, and my son loved them. We enjoyed our week here at the end of July and would happily come back. It was our first time at this room pot. The cabin was nice and had all the essentials, though the beds weren't especially comfortable. You can only drive around the park on check-in and check-out days, which wasn't too bad, but the walk to and from the car park was quite long. The pool was okay, but not all the showers worked and the lockers were tiny. We didn't interact much with the staff, but those encounters were all positive. The location is good, and Epe is a lovely town to visit.

It's a really good park in the woods, with wonderfully clean air. They arranged most cabins so they don't face the roads, which gives you more privacy, and most appliances are already there. The oven/microwave takes a long time to heat things, but otherwise it's great.

The staff are very friendly, and the resort is peaceful and cozy, with amenities like an indoor pool, restaurants, playgrounds, and a tennis court. The facilities are clean, though some upkeep would help, as there were stains on the wall. The mattress is very soft. It's a good choice for a getaway, with or without children.
