The host was especially friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel wonderful. The house was spotless and peaceful, right by the water in a lovely setting. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The family were so lovely, and the place by the water had the beautiful accommodation and breathtaking view we were hoping for. We had a fantastic holiday and are already excited to come back next year.

A car is essential in Giethoorn, and there’s a nearby supermarket with everything, the only one in Giethoorn. The ground-floor guest space is a lovely one-bedroom house with a glass-fronted living room facing the canal, a kitchen, and a bathroom. There’s free parking, and the owner lives upstairs. The owner and his wife were incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend them, five stars, and had an excellent experience. The house has a washing machine, with each wash costing €5. The owner also has a boat available for a Giethoorn tour.

We got a warm welcome to a spacious apartment with all the amenities. It’s a prime spot for anglers, and we had a successful fishing weekend. Highly recommended.

The owners were helpful and friendly, and we’d be glad to return. The apartment sits right on the water in a great part of Giethoorn. Definitely recommend it.
