The B&B’s WhatsApp messages were clear and excellent, and there’s plenty of free parking nearby. I found this place for a Wednesday-to-Thursday night near the Steam Train Museum in Goes. By coincidence, my room was themed “Hoedenskerke Station”, where I got off on Wednesday before visiting the museum. All four rooms are upstairs and only reachable by stairs. Mine had a wonderfully high double bed, handy for a senior like me, plus a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. There was also a TV, coffee and tea, plenty of power outlets including one on each side of the bed for charging my phone and tablet nearby, and excellent free Wi-Fi. I’m still waiting to see what breakfast in the ground-floor Breakfast Room is like, but I’m confident it’ll be top-notch. The manager and his young children live on the ground floor, and you can hear them during the day. Traffic is audible then too. At night it’s peaceful and quiet, with little traffic. All in all, a great B&B.

My room was very clean and comfortable, and the host and hostess were extremely helpful and friendly. I had a very pleasant stay, enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and definitely recommend staying here.

The owners are gracious, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. It’s a quiet place in a residential neighborhood, with an excellent breakfast. If you’re walking, it’s a little way from the city center, though that may be part of why it’s so quiet. Entry instructions come through WhatsApp, so make sure your device is working.

We had a lovely time at this B&B and would happily come back on another trip to Goes. The owner was friendly, and the room and bathroom were both clean and roomy. Breakfast was delicious too.

The rooms were pleasant and breakfast was great. We found it easy to get around Zeeland from this B&B: the center of Goes is about a ten-minute walk away, or two minutes by bike.
