Boutique Hotel Rijks I Kloeg Collection

We enjoyed sitting on the terrace, watching the local market and the village activity. The hotel is right in the center of Goes, on the main square. Our room was large, with a spacious bathroom and shower, and the bed felt like a cloud. The spa was very quiet, so we had the sauna to ourselves. Breakfast was the weak point: the scrambled eggs weren't good, the bread was a little soggy, and there was a long wait between coffee and food.

Right in the heart of Goes, this is a lovely historic building. The rooms were very nice, the staff helpful, and breakfast solid.

We stayed in the wellness suite, which was lovely, in a hotel perfectly placed in central Goes. I'd be curious to see the little square full of open terraces in summer. Service fell short for the price of a hotel suite. Coffee was forgotten several times or charged extra, glasses weren't replaced, and the room wasn't tidied, even though Corona meant we had to eat in there. The honesty bar could also have had a more varied selection of distinctive drinks. Fortunately, there are plenty of nice shops nearby where you can buy something.

The location is good, and the room was decent with a solid breakfast. But the rooms are small, the bathrooms even smaller, and the staff weren't flexible or customer-friendly. If you need help from the front desk with any kind of issue, don't count on them.
