You can step straight out of this lovely B&B and head off for a walk, and there's a good pub/restaurant diagonally across the way. The owners live right next to the house. It's nicely put together, and breakfast was fantastic, delivered at the time we'd agreed on.

The owner was away on vacation when we visited at the end of August, so breakfast wasn't included. With the Spar just around the corner, that was no problem. We had a lovely time cycling and enjoyed a good meal in Wemeldingen. The studio is beautiful and has everything you need. We had a great stay and will definitely return. The little details made this studio feel especially cared for. There were cleaning cloths, oil, salt and pepper, margarine and coffee creamer in small portions in the fridge, thick bath towels, and in a second drawer I only found on the last day, extra towels, a hairdryer and a first-aid kit. Candles in lanterns, a fresh little bouquet on the dining table, and real potted plants added to the feel. Because of the pandemic, disposable gloves and masks were supplied too. The mid-stay cleaning offer was a lovely extra. The owners live next door, and they were friendly without being intrusive. When something was missing, like larger pots or a dish drainer, it was easy to ask and they helped right away. The kitchenette is about two metres long and has a big induction cooktop, small oven, large sink, good food storage, a small Nespresso machine and kettle. There was even a welcome bowl with capsules, tea and sugar. The studio also has a double bed with four pillows and a 2x2 metre duvet, plus a fold-out sofa bed. The mattress topper underneath made the gap barely noticeable, so it was comfortable enough for a sleep-in. The kitchenette and sofa bed setup is described twice, so I'll add that the polished sealed concrete floor can be slippery, but it's practical, easy to clean and looks good. I found this place by chance while looking for a reasonably priced stay for three during the second week of North Rhine-Westphalia's summer vacation. It was a real stroke of luck. Everything is tastefully and comfortably arranged, with only a few small drawbacks. The only TV complaint is its size, though being able to log into Netflix was invaluable. There's no wardrobe, and the clothes rail and small chest of drawers weren't enough for 2-3 people, so I lived out of my suitcase. I could borrow a vacuum cleaner, but a broom would've been handy after beach trips. The only radiator was switched off, but the underfloor heating was more than enough, and easy to program. Wonderful!

A handy base for seeing Zeeland, with restaurants, a café and a supermarket close by. You won't be surrounded by big tourist crowds, either. Lovely place to stay, highly recommended.
