Strandhotel Duinoord

Dobby got a welcome package with a toy and snacks, and there were towels for dogs by the entrance. We really felt they had prepared for our dog and made us welcome. We stayed two nights in April for a short break, and the beach is very close, with several beach restaurants within walking distance. Check their opening times before going. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely styling and atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice and more sustainable presentation options. There's also a reserved breakfast area for guests with dogs. The restaurant and bar were closed for renovations, but the hotel had an honesty bar with drinks and snacks, where you noted your room number on a form. We were very impressed and will definitely return.

We loved our stay. The room was large, new, clean, and had a balcony. Breakfast was very good, parking was great, and both the beach and forest are close by.

We booked the Deluxe Suite for a little weekend break, and it really felt deluxe, with a sun shower and a Jacuzzi in the room. The place is lovely and well situated near the beach. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean. The service felt especially thoughtful during Corona. I'd recommend it, 5/5.

The room's bathing facilities were top quality, including a sun lamp in the shower. The sauna was closed because of COVID-19, but our family suite still fit all five of us comfortably with an extra bed. Staff were friendly and professional, and breakfast was included and C-19 compliant. We enjoyed our three-night stay and the easy walk to the beach. The clean, beautiful coastline was dotted with colorful kitesurfers. We'd definitely stay here again.
