Villa Oesterdam 4 Persons

There’s plenty to do at Oesterdam Resort, from standup paddling and canoeing to cycling, swimming, and an extreme jet boat experience. It’s a fantastic holiday resort, with helpful, friendly staff. Tholen and Bergen op Zoom are also close enough for short cycling trips. Highly recommend visiting and staying here.

We loved the big garden at the house, and the playground was a hit with our toddler. The rest of our stay at Oesterdam Resort left us with mixed feelings. The three bedroom house looked much more luxurious online than it felt in person: two chairs were broken, and the kitchen pans were old and badly scratched. The two upstairs bedrooms had no ventilation. It seemed there was no insulation either, because it was 27°C at night despite the outdoor daytime temperature being 23°C. Sleeping was really hard for our babies and for us, and at least a small fan would have helped. Ants were all over the kitchen, living room, terrace table, and even our bags after we got home. There were ant traps in one room already, so the problem seemed known. We mentioned it at checkout, but the receptionist only said they’d take note, with no apology or gesture. We expected more based on the resort’s online presentation.

We stayed here with our yacht, and the marina is very well equipped. The modern, spacious showers don’t need separate coins, which was great. The restaurant is nice, and the staff are so friendly and do their best to make every wish come true. Thank you very much! Sabine and Ralf

There are lots of water activities available on site, and the restaurant serves very tasty dishes with a beautiful view. A nice destination for a day trip or a longer stay.
