Stella Suites Boutique Hotel

The main reason I chose a particular room was that I needed a fridge. Before booking, I called to ask about the fridge and late check-in. I learned that only some rooms had one, so I selected one of those. The hotel then messaged me on WhatsApp, saying they'd upgraded my room for free. After we discussed it, I made clear that I needed a fridge, and we agreed one would be moved into the room in the morning. We had a very long trip and arrived in the morning. A staff member helped us get in, but when I asked about the fridge, she said nobody had told her. I showed her the messages and the hotel's promise to bring one from another room. She said she'd check, but we never got a fridge during our stay. We had issues because of this. We were exhausted when we arrived, so we asked if we could have breakfast. Staff said yes and told us it would take around 15 minutes, which was fine. Later, she came back and said they weren't serving it anymore. The next day I left a second phone in the room as a camera because I had important things there, and twice asked staff not to enter or clean the room. About 35 minutes later, I got a notification that staff had entered. The first person I'd asked to stay out left, then three people showed up in the room, pointing at our belongings and talking about our lives like kids at a zoo. We felt exposed in public. During the day, there was no word about why they had entered or any apology. I spoke with the owner that evening. Our privacy had been violated, though at first they didn't realize what they'd done. The day before we left, we couldn't find a free parking spot at the hotel or in the nearby public lot. The hotel let us stay until 12 as an apology, but the door locked automatically at 11:45. If my wife hadn't still been in the room, we wouldn't have been able to get our things. They also offered breakfast, but I didn't want to see the people who had humiliated my wife and me.
