The location worked well for trips to Rotterdam, The Hague, Kinderdijk, and Amsterdam, and there was plenty of free parking on site. We stayed for a week, two adults and our teenage daughters, and were given adjoining rooms so the girls could have privacy while we could still communicate. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. The pet fee was €20 a night, about what other places charge. There’s a popular restaurant downstairs. We didn’t eat there, but it was open even on Christmas Day. Having a washer and dryer on site mattered a lot for our family, since it meant we didn’t have to find a laundromat. It cost €9 per load, about the same as a laundromat. The wifi worked on our phones but was too slow for my husband’s work and could use improvement. Lighting wasn’t great, and some switches didn’t work properly. If we’re in The Netherlands again, we’d stay here.

I’ve stayed here twice now. The reception ladies are kind and welcoming. Dinner is tasty and there’s nothing to complain about, but after a long stay like mine it gets repetitive. Service can take a little while sometimes, though it’s mostly okay.

There’s plenty of parking, and in summer you can enjoy the large terrace. The meeting rooms are very fairly priced, and the food is pretty decent for the cost. The hotel has been newly renovated and uses Van Der Valk quality and supplies. It’s centrally located in The Netherlands, which works well when people are meeting from different parts of the country. The immediate surroundings are less appealing, though, with a busy highway, car garages, and (social) renting high-rises nearby.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it really feels like a home away from home. The relaxed atmosphere and excellent service make each visit special, and you can tell they care about their guests. Stefan and Martin are fantastic, always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Our room package included dinner and breakfast, and the price was quite good for what we got. The room was comfortable, with a nice shower and good A/C, and parking was free. Dinner was a perfect three-course meal, and breakfast was excellent too. The service was super nice, friendly, and cheerful, especially in the restaurant. Thanks for a good stay.
