Calling this a B&B feels misleading to me. It was a room in a messy house, and there was no breakfast, so it was only a B. The room floor was dirty, the bathroom wasn’t very clean, and the toilet seat was loose. There was a bleach stain on the sheets, which left me wondering whether they were clean. No wastebasket in the room, and the WiFi stopped working at night. The kitchen was messy when I arrived. After dinner, I came back to a trashed kitchen and living room, with dirty dishes on the dining table, dirty pots and pans, and filthy counters. It seemed to be mess from the family who runs the place and lives there. It was still like that at breakfast time, with nowhere clean to sit or eat and no way to make coffee. I wouldn’t have wanted to try.

Good location for a short stay, and the place itself was clean. The towels were clean too, but so old they seemed dirty from decades of use. Toilet paper was missing, which was disappointing.

A nice little garden inside the house, good for enjoying the weekend. It has a B&B feel.

The location is great, and there’s plenty of space. The house itself is quite old.

The food was reasonably priced, and the servers were very helpful. The place is in central Gouda, so the location is great.
