Camping Lagewald Vakantiehuis

The only thing I wasn't keen on was the shower heads. They sprayed too widely, and the flow felt a bit too weak to be comfortable. Otherwise, I really loved my few days at this campsite. It was very quiet, with no screaming children, and I felt welcome. The price was reasonable, and the toilets and showers were very clean. I'd absolutely recommend this minicamping!!.

We stayed in the holiday home Sfeer at Camping Lagewald from Wednesday to Monday. Even with the less-than-ideal weather, we had a lovely long weekend. The accommodation was comfortable, very well maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, and the area has beautiful cycling routes and plenty to explore. Definitely recommended for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings!

The campsite is open, with little shade from trees, which was actually nice for us this time. There are beautiful views of the horses and sunset, and it was quiet from 11:00 PM until about 8:00 AM. We really enjoyed our stay. The pitches marked as unsuitable for folding caravans seemed perfectly usable to us. They say they aren't level enough, but we've seen worse, so don't let that put you off visiting this fantastic campsite. The owners were especially friendly and helpful, and arrival was extremely welcoming. They offered us coffee, tea, and a biscuit, which we'd never experienced before. We'd reserved a pitch, but it was quite windy, and it was no problem to find another one. The grounds are well kept and the pitches are spacious. You can borrow something if you've forgotten it or your cables are too short. The toilet block had just been renovated, looked neat and tidy, and made us want to keep it that way. There were wonderful rain showers and nice music. If I had to name a downside, it was that it smelled a bit of horses in the evening. But that's what you expect at a farm campsite. A real gem on the Dutch-German border.

We spent nearly 14 days here and had a lovely, spacious pitch overlooking the meadows and horses. It's a very tidy campsite. There's no entertainment, fortunately, and the pitches aren't crammed together or right on top of each other. There are lots of cycling options nearby, with easy routes.
