It’s a really social place to start your first year of studies, with lots of new people to meet and a great location. The rooms have quality furniture, the bathroom is really nice and clean, and it’s a nice extra that they change the sheets and towels and clean your room once a month. The two main problems are the price, which is faaaaaar more expensive than most student accommodation, and the shared kitchen. You’ll share with about 6-7-8 other people, and be ready for some uneducated and lazy people who don’t clean their plates and just leave a mess. We even had a guy acting as a barber, cutting hair in the kitchen and leaving it everywhere. The staff always tried to help as best they could with these kinds of issues. Apart from those two things, this place is great.

The communal areas make it easy to connect with others, and the lively crowd of young travelers gives the place energy without making it feel chaotic. The rooms are comfortable and stylish, and the contemporary design looks great in every corner. The Social Hub in Groningen is a modern, vibrant hotel with a youthful spirit, a trendy choice if you want style and a sense of community. 🏨

The rooms are great, with little gadgets you can play around with, like a big hourglass. It’s a very good hotel for young people. The location works well for anywhere in the north of Groningen, though the southern part can be a bit far to reach on foot. I recommend it ^^

The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities clean, and the price reasonable. I really like Social Hub’s eco-friendly approach to what they put in the rooms. The workspace was excellent and well used by youngsters, which really brought the hotel to life. It was easy to find, too. The one thing I took a star off for was people smoking right in front of the main entrance. I smoke myself, but don’t think smoking by the hotel door is acceptable to customers who may be non-smokers. Maybe the hotel could set up a smoking area away from the entrance?

The Social Hub was an exceptional place for my wife, who uses a wheelchair and needs extra care. The accessible room was one of the best we’ve experienced: large, safe, and had everything we expected. It was a special place for us.
