Fraukje was an enthusiastic, friendly host and shared useful tips about Grou and the area. We stayed three nights with the cycling package and breakfast, and wished we could have stayed longer, but it was already fully booked. A cozy place where you feel well looked after. We’ll definitely return.

The beds were really comfortable, and there was plenty of room to unwind in the living room by the wood-burning stove. At B&B "De Thuiskamer" (The Living Room), we were welcomed warmly by Fraukje, who lives next door. The house was spotless and beautifully kept, with a place indoors for our e-bikes. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and we could choose how we wanted our eggs. Coffee and tea were available throughout the stay. Fraukje also suggested good restaurants, cycling routes and walks. We especially loved the ferry route. A great weekend away.

Because the weather spoiled our cycling plans a little, Fraukje suggested a lovely alternative: visiting two farms that make artisanal cheeses, including cheeses served at breakfast. We also had a beautiful boat trip when the weather cleared, with a picnic basket of delicious things to take along. We had a wonderful stay at Fraukje's in De Thuiskamer, a beautiful old building right in the center of Grou. Highly recommended.

Our friends recently stayed here and really enjoyed the hospitality. They’re already looking forward to coming back. It’s a cozy B&B with all the amenities, lovely surroundings, and a very friendly, helpful hostess who makes the stay feel personal. Breakfast was generous, with carefully prepared treats. A perfect choice for a memorable stay.
