We had the three-course dinner and really loved 't limburgs hoentje. The Japanese-style carpacchio was fun, though it could have used something to bring out the flavor of the meat. Both the quail (hoentje) and duck (eend) mains were very good, but the duck needed more seasoning. The crème brullée was delicious. Service was quick and very friendly. We'll definitely come back if we're in the area.

We had a lovely meal in the courtyard, which was a great place to sit. The staff were very friendly, spoke English, and helped us with the menu. I'd highly recommend it.

The food was great, and there's a coffee machine in the room. The place is extremely friendly and helpful, and ideally situated on a quiet side street near the centre of gulpen.
