Breakfast was a lovely start, with fresh bread, eggs, juice, and fruit, all prepared well. The welcome was friendly, and it’s a relaxing place, with a covered outdoor seating area and motorcycle parking on the property. Our room was spacious and clean, and the modern bathroom and toilet were tidy. It’s close to Groningen. Highly recommended!

The room stays nice and dark at night, and the light under the bed switches on when you get up, enough to find your way to the bathroom. There’s a spacious shower and good heating, too. The bedroom is roomy and has a kitchenette, which was enough for us. Breakfast was well prepared. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area for at least a couple of days.

Jumbo and a chip shop are close by, and it’s a handy base for the cycling routes around the area. The location also works well for public transport, with the train station nearby. The B&B is a lovely private retreat, finished beautifully and run by a lovely couple. It has the feel of a chic hotel.
