Fletcher Boutique Hotel De Kromme Dissel

The free Nespresso capsules and coffee maker were the best part of the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with no major problems. For what you pay, the place isn’t bad, though the walls are thin enough that you can hear neighbors talking and coughing. The furniture and wallpaper look very dated and worn, and there were broken bathroom tiles and a backed-up shower drain. In 2024, I wouldn’t expect to have to shower in a bathtub behind a curtain. The hotel could really use an upgrade.

We came for lunch, but it wasn’t a great experience. They first asked us to sit in the hallway because the tables were being set up for dinner. The waiter wasn’t helpful, and the menu was very limited. It gave the impression that they’d rather not have guests.

A lovely hotel in a lovely town. I’d definitely come back.

The room was clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable. They also provided a crib for our toddler at no extra cost, and there was a bathrobe in the room. The pool is small, but we still enjoyed it. The sauna was free, though the Turkish steam bath and jacuzzi weren’t working during our stay. Breakfast had no pancakes, but there was a good variety of bread. We enjoyed our stay overall.
