There’s lots of greenery and room in the garden, and guests can use a full kitchen. I only stayed one night, but it seemed like a good spot for a longer holiday too. I recommend booking through their own website, since it’s much cheaper than the usual booking sites.
Guests cook their own meals here, and the kitchen has a friendly feel, with chances to socialize if you want to. The rooms are basic but clean, and the idea seems to be that you spend your time exploring the towns or going for walks. The volunteer-run facilities work really well, as they have at Nivon houses for decades. It’s a pretty great guest house with good facilities in one of the more scenic parts of Holland, where there are plenty of hotels. The price is right too.
The rooms were on the small side but tidy, and the facilities were in good shape. It’s not somewhere to sit indoors all day, though the staff are very friendly.
A lovely place to spend the end of the year, especially if you enjoy nature, exploring, and the comfort of being with family.
A nice, fairly average budget place, run by nice people. The atmosphere is peaceful.
