We had a spacious, clean, modern room with air conditioning, satellite TV and free tea and coffee facilities. The hosts were welcoming, and there was secure parking for bicycles. Breakfast, served at the hotel’s attached Japanese restaurant, included cooked food as well as continental options. It’s in a lovely spot by the canal, about 1.5 miles outside town.

For a weekend trip to Amsterdam by car, this is a great place to stay. My room was very clean, the staff were friendly and easygoing, and there was a good breakfast. The Asian food is made fresh right next to you. It’s not a five-star hotel, and probably no hotel would satisfy people with over-the-top expectations, but I was happy with it.

The owners were really nice, and breakfast was wonderful. It’s a lovely little B&B with a sushi restaurant and a great base for a holiday in Amsterdam. I’ll stay here again when I’m back.

The breakfast was delicious and generous, and the owner’s friendly wife served it while we had a nice chat with him. We had a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with a shower. It’s close to the airport but far enough from the city, and although the street is busy, the traffic didn’t keep us awake. The entrance is beside Mikaku, their restaurant, and leads to parking behind the House of Tulips. They were helpful and welcoming, and the place had a cozy feel. We’ll definitely come back if we’re in the area.

The bed blanket was lovely and soft, and having our own parking space was a real plus. The couple running the B&B and Japanese restaurant were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very nice, especially the fresh bread straight from the oven. It might be fun if they offered a small sushi taste with breakfast as an option, since not everyone would want it. We missed trying the restaurant and are curious about the dragon sushi, so maybe next time. You can rent bikes from them and ride to the nearby flower fields; there’s also a beautiful castle close by.
