The steep stairs up to the bedrooms are fine if you’re fit, and we slept really well in the beds. The rooms were quaint, with very simple furniture, which didn’t bother us. Sonnehus had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, right beside a canal like you’d expect in this area. We spent almost a week in beautiful Hindeloopen at the end of September, with fantastic weather. We loved wandering the little alleys, visiting the harbor, and checking out the charming small restaurants and shops. The people were very friendly, and we’d definitely come back.
