Opening the curtains in the morning to see three beautiful horses was a lovely surprise. The neighborhood was very quiet, and we really enjoyed our stay. The shower and bathroom were very good, and breakfast had an impressive range of choices, enough to leave us full before a day at the Park De Hoge. Franske is a lovely, wonderful host. We highly recommend this B&B.

The location makes it easy to get around: the supermarket is 100 meters away, and the entrance to Hoge Veluwe National Park is under a five-minute walk. We also enjoyed petting the hostess' horses. The apartment was clean and in great condition, with a nearly new bathroom and a comfortable bed. In the morning there was a tasty, varied surprise breakfast, and our hostess, Franske, was very kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This B&B deserves all five stars, and we'd recommend it.

We'd love to return. The hostess was very sweet and quick to reply by email or WhatsApp. Our large, luxurious room had a separate sitting area with a sofa and TV, and a lovely view of the countryside and horses, including from the private terrace. There was a large bed, with extra-large pillows available, which I appreciated. The shower and toilet looked new and were fully equipped.

We just got home from a weekend at Franske's B&B de Paalberg. It was such a nice experience, with a warm welcome and friendly contact, a comfortable room and bed, a lovely shower, and a varied breakfast. A great base for cycling and walking on the Veluwe. We'd happily do it again!
