The beds were very comfortable, and for a reasonable price we found the place neat and clean. We stayed in a four-person apartment, but it felt fine for two and a bit cramped for four, perhaps better with two small children. It’s simple and a little noisy, so you can hear the neighbors, though that didn’t bother us in itself. There were lots of ants, and there’s a bath available. Ameland, you’re beautiful!

We came back, this time staying in a house for two. It had the basics we needed, including a kitchen, dining area, sofa, TV, bathroom, an upstairs bedroom, and a terrace with a table and two chairs. The bathroom could use renovation, as expansion joints have appeared everywhere. Otherwise, I’d recommend the accommodation to anyone after a relaxed holiday here.

Ameland’s surroundings and beach are fantastic. Sadly, the accommodation was dirty all over when we arrived, and we had to get someone in to clean it. It really needs better cleanliness and order.

We stayed in No. 7, and it badly needs renovation. The kitchen was rickety, and the place was so noisy we could almost hear the neighbors word for word. Maybe the newer cottages are better.
