Right in the heart of Hollum, this is a nice little hotel with a great restaurant. The staff were very friendly.

4/10
The food was good, but I found the owner or manager annoyed and arrogant. It seemed like being nice was difficult for him. I don’t understand arrogance, since it has no place in any situation. Nobody is worth more than anyone else, whether they’re a country’s king or sleeping on the streets. I treat both the same. I hope this man starts doing that too and realizes every guest deserves polite, kind treatment, whether they’re a Nobel winner, a multi-billionaire, rich, or sleeping on the streets. I hope things get better for him and his guests.

The portions were really filling, and everything was prepared well. We had a delicious dinner at De Walvisvaarder, with friendly, helpful staff. We'd happily come back.
