Efteling Grand Hotel Ticket Included

Being right inside the park is a big part of the appeal, and clearly what the extra cost is for. We had a good stay in the Grand Hotel’s New Year’s Eve package for 2025. The rooms were pleasant and seemed to offer a good view wherever you were. The shower worked well and the beds were comfortable, though the layout felt awkward: an open toilet door can get hit when someone enters the room. I’m still undecided about having the toilet in its own small room rather than in the main bathroom. We also noticed wear already, including carpet stains and a damaged toilet paper holder with its clasp torn off. Breakfast was a fresh buffet with lots to choose from. Dinner was served rather than buffet-style, which could be tricky for fussy eaters, especially kids. My wife didn’t like any of the adult mains, but they wouldn’t let her order a burger from the children’s menu. That seemed like an unnecessary refusal.

We stayed in a balcony suite, and it felt wonderfully luxurious, from the thoughtful bottled water, macaroons and soft robes to the huge, beautifully designed bathroom. It’s a gorgeous hotel, and we’d love to come back and relax there again. The food was fine overall. Breakfast had a broad buffet selection, though at busy times the dirty tables sat uncleared for quite a while, and more staff would have helped.

We ended up extending our stay because we fell so much in love with the place and its staff. The view of the sprookjesbos from our room was amazing, and we really enjoyed the spa too. At Brasserie 7, breakfast came with a lovely view over aquanoura. From the minute we arrived, the team did everything they could to make our stay as good as possible. The hospitality was unmatched. Waking up in the Efteling is hard to beat.

Restaurant Mystique doesn’t seem to have its own Google review page, so I’m leaving this here. We stayed at the Wonder Hotel, not the Grand Hotel, but a receptionist somehow managed to find us a table at Mystique. It was absolutely worth it. After a wonderful day, we had a brilliant evening. The food was elegant, full of surprises, and delicious. The wines and aperitif were varied and paired beautifully with the dishes. Lisa, Thijme, and all the lovely people whose names we didn’t catch put so much care into making two very ordinary, not at all fancy people feel special. We’re incredibly grateful. Jade deserves a special mention for going out of her way to give us the best hotel and lift tour, and especially the warmest, loveliest golf cart ride imaginable. We really hope she sees this. We feel so much love and gratitude for her and the whole team. Jade and the Mystique team, if you ever find yourselves in Northern Germany, we’d love the chance to return the kindness after the 11/10 evening you gave those galaxy sweater guys. We’d come back to Mystique anytime, and recommend it 110%. Five-plus stars, just wow. Give them a raise, lol.
