We had a lovely, peaceful cabin, and getting around the park was easy. There are plenty of parks for the kids, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool and water slides. The 24/7 pizza machine caused a problem and didn’t give us one of the pizzas. It didn’t seem worth the hassle of trying to get it sorted or get our money back. Still, we had a great stay and would recommend it.

The accommodation and site facilities were excellent, and walking from here to Eftling takes about 30 minutes. That can save 15euros on parking, though it’s not ideal with very little kids. The site itself is fantastic, with lovely accommodation. My main complaint was the EV chargers. They only take an RFID card from a Dutch company, which wasn’t really an option for an international visitor. I have a number of chargeaps that work at most other chargers in the area, but not these.

Berkel 4 wouldn’t be my first choice. It gets really hot inside in spring, and the exterior walls make loud noises as they warm up and cool down. The park is lovely and well suited to children. The house has everything you need to cook, but sound carries inside because it isn’t very well insulated.

We spent four great nights here during the May 2026 heat wave. The safari tents have air con, which made a big difference. There’s lots for kids to do around the site, including an excellent pool area, parks and play equipment. It’s also very handy for Efteling theme park. Customer service felt quite laid back. One tip for anyone in a safari tent: bring an eye mask and ear plugs. You can hear every cough, fart and baby crying from the neighbors.
