There's loads for all ages to do here. My kids loved exploring the park, pools and slides, pretty much everything, and they were already asking when we could come back. Definitely when all the walnuts are ready, there are so many around :).

The pitches are spacious and so is the site, but we were assigned one on arrival, opposite a very noisy family. Their kids rode electric go-karts around at 11 pm with loud music, and our pitch was grouped with other tents and campers even though plenty of pitches were empty. The site roads badly need sweeping and weeding. The pool had loads of snot, skin and debris floating in it, despite not being very crowded. It needs much stronger filter pumps. After staying at a city centre site in Amsterdam, this one felt incredibly noisy, mostly because of selfish parenting. There's no shop, and apparently it's been closed since 2018, though the website doesn't mention that. The bar's outdoor seating is right beside the entry road and car park. Why put it there when the site is so huge?

We got a clean, well-equipped bungalow, the pool was great and my children enjoyed the play areas. Check-in was quick and easy too: someone was waiting at the entrance with our keys and information, so we didn't even have to get out of the car. Some areas and mobile homes looked a bit run down. The beds could have been more comfortable, and the mini golf was in a very distressed state. I'd booked four nights at the last minute through Vakantieveilingen and thought it was a good deal, until I read the bad reviews. I arrived expecting a filthy, neglected, antisocial nightmare, packed more cleaning products than clothes, and braced myself. We did hear neighbors say their bungalows and kitchenware were filthy, so I can see why people say that, but we were lucky and had a positive stay. Lunch at the restaurant was the low point. For 8.25 euros, the burger came with no salad or fries, just a horrible, industrial, low-grade white bun and a patty made of pureed frikandel meat, like the cheapest supermarket freezer food. The soup was basically a glorified cup a soup, and the omelette was cold and tasted like airplane food. Seriously, how do you mess up an omelette? It was very overpriced and very poor quality, so lesson learned. We cooked in the bungalow after that. There's an AH supermarket not too far away, and the camping shop wasn't ridiculously expensive like the restaurant.

The park looks deserted, and temporary workers live there. The bungalow was missing equipment. Computer theses and telephones are very often the case. The washing machines have a broken system. Security searches residents' private belongings when they're away. Stores are very far away.
