There's something for everyone here, with kids animation, a water paradise and even a beach club if you're after clubbing. I'm a dog owner, and the beach is great for long walks. At low and mid tide, you can go several 100 meters into the water before it gets swim deep. Or walk along the dikes and head down to the micro beaches if you'd like your own private beach.

The rooms were amazing. You get an access code for the door, so there's no key to lose or share. My only complaint was that there was no toilet paper, which felt a bit odd. The many insects and spiders aren't the owners' fault, but they can get inside, so be careful if you've got a phobia.

The houses are neat and stylish, and the park itself is brand new, but it still needs some things worked out, like rubbish separation. Towels wrapped in plastic bags are another example. We had the usual hassle with the booking process because of our dog, and they weren't much help with solving the problem. Since kids' facilities, supermarkets and the swimming hall are at the next-door park, getting across the bridge makes for a long walk. The amenities all felt old compared with other Roompot parks. Great for an adult holiday, but not much good for our family. We won't come back.

Rompot water village has plenty to do for families. You can walk around the village, go boating, or head to the beach, which is within walking distance. There’s also a big swimming pool, sauna, restaurant with bar and supermarket. It's nice for walks and bike rides to nearby villages or other beaches, and if you love nature, there are places to enjoy around Rompot village.

A calm, cozy place to stay. Ducks and seabirds come to the little rivers near the house, where you can watch them look for food and land on the water.
