The loft bed is reached by a narrow spiral staircase, so this may not suit anyone uneasy with heights or with limited mobility. We stayed two nights in the cozy B&B XL for two, where the owner personally checked us in and explained how everything worked. It's a peaceful spot looking out over meadows, with private parking and a spacious box-spring bed. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, juice and various treats. Apeldoorn and Zutphen are nearby for outings, as is Thermen Bussloo.

The XL has its bed on a mezzanine, reached by a very narrow spiral staircase, which could be tricky for some people. Otherwise, it's modern and well equipped, with an open view from a beautiful location. You can't cook there, but there is a microwave.

The countryside here is incredibly peaceful. Inside, the welcoming B&B is compact but very comfortable, and there's a lovely private outdoor area. Breakfast was delicious too.

Everything was spotless, and the location was great. It's a lovely private space connected to the owner's house. There's no way to cook, but the little fridge and Nespresso machine were enough for us.

The private garden was a lovely spot to sit outside. Everything around it is beautiful and wonderfully quiet, and the host and hostess were friendly. A great base for day trips.
