There’s a swimming area and restaurant on site, and the pitches are a good size. The motorhome spots don’t have much of a view, which is why I’d give it four stars rather than five. It’s a quiet, lovely location with the amenities you’re likely to need, and I’d stay again. There’s plenty to see and do across the river, reached by the nearby ferry.

The surroundings are beautiful, and the washrooms were clean, but the Wi-Fi was extremely poor everywhere. There’s no hand soap or paper or cloth towels in any of the bathrooms. Only one WC has two two-pin charging outlets; a camp charger would work at extra cost, and the chargers get warmer than usual. Everything is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so come prepared. They didn’t respond to my phone message, though the friendly hotel manager booked me in for 12 euros and arranged for me to get a couple of beers.

A relaxed, really nice campsite with very friendly people and a good restaurant. We'll be back!

The lake is fun for swimming and playing in the water. A quiet spot with a good campground.

The chalet was excellent, and our grandchildren had a superb place to stay.
