The park is set in lovely Dutch countryside along a dike road, but the park itself could use updating. We stayed in a chalet for two weeks in March, during low season, when most amenities were unavailable or limited. The laundry room was one example. Even so, the full per-person, per-day park fee was charged, including for my 14-month-old son. We also paid a fairly high cleaning fee on top of the rental we paid the chalet owner, but the place still had dust bunnies behind the furniture, a not very clean toilet, and floors that needed a proper mop. If you’re not local and can’t bring your own linens and towels, you’ll have to rent them. We ate at the restaurant too. It was quaint and the food was okay, but there was dust everywhere, and staff were sitting on their phones while the place was empty. The gate setup wasn’t practical either. You need a card to enter and exit, and twice we couldn’t get out and had to ask the office to reset it. Luckily it was during business hours. A code just for entry would make more sense. The park seems better suited to people nearby who drive in.
