The food was good, and the place had a friendly feel. It’s a lovely restaurant just outside the village, with plenty of parking. Service was warm and sincere, though at times the staff seemed a little inexperienced and slow. I’d recommend it for families with younger or older children.

The asparagus with rack of lamb was a great call from our waiter. We were there in spring, when it’s apparently a local specialty, and it was delicious. The portions were generous, and everything came out well seasoned on hot plates. The staff were excellent with English, so we had no trouble being served even though most of the other guests seemed to be locals speaking Dutch. We’d come across the restaurant by chance while driving. After dinner I had a double espresso, brought out beautifully on a silver tray with sweets and a small jug of water. A lovely little detail. We were very happy with the service and food, and would highly recommend it.

The portions are huge, the meals are really tasty, and the prices are good. It’s a cozy place that works well for couples or families, with a roomy terrace and friendly service. I’ll definitely be back 😀
