Hotel Restaurant 'T Holt

Good.

It’s due for an overhaul.

The location is pleasant if you’re after peace and quiet, cycling, or motorcycling, so the hotel has potential. But I wouldn’t recommend staying until the rooms are renovated. The shower has lots of mold around the sealant, and there are dirty marks on the walls, cobwebs, hairpins, and other people’s hair everywhere. It may be outdated, but it still needs to be clean.

I stayed for 7 nights, and the dinner was amazing. Almost everything is done by the owner and his wife, who cooks herself, and there was something different on the table every night. They’re available to guests from 8 in the morning until around 10 in the evening. Breakfast had a good selection, and everything was clean. The hotel is a bit older and some things need replacing, but it’s a small, quiet place in a beautiful area and somewhat cheaper than other hotels. There’s Wi-Fi and a television in the room. A large group was there for the Fiets4daagse, and since I was on my own, the owner suggested things I could do during the day after the event ended, as I’d stayed a few days longer. On my last day, I was even allowed to hose down my bike, which had been stored neatly indoors overnight. They also have lots of board games if you need something to do. When something broke, it was fixed the same day, since they can’t check everything daily. The owner is proactive and does everything to satisfy his guests. I’d gladly return often.
