A pity. We didn't feel welcome at the other B&B, and there was no personal contact. When we raised questions or comments, the response felt defensive and dismissive instead of proactive or focused on finding a solution.

The rural surroundings are beautiful, with lovely routes for cycling and walking. What stood out most to me was how hospitable the hosts were, so spontaneous and welcoming. The cottage itself is spacious and would comfortably fit four people. It was very clean and everything was in order, from the comfortable beds, chairs and sofas to the kitchen, shower and toilet.

Perron 3 in Haarle was a great base for our midweek break, with hiking and cycling routes starting nearby. In the village there's also a supermarket, a good restaurant and a bike rental shop. The apartment was comfortable, cozy and tastefully decorated, just like the photos, and having good Wi-Fi mattered to us. If you're heading this way, it's a good option.
