Bed and Breakfast de Kaap

The weekend was a real success, with beautiful scenery all around. We were welcomed so warmly and even got to join a wine tasting. We heard in detail how the wine is made using traditional methods, then tried three delicious wines. The apartment itself was tidy and well kept.

The peaceful surroundings made it easy to switch off and de-stress. The owners are friendly and helpful, and they let you choose whether to spend time with them or just do your own thing. Everything was very clean and well maintained, from the spotless bathrooms to the kitchen, which had all the basic essentials. I highly recommend staying here.

The grounds, apartment, and view are really unique, and it's a perfect starting point for a few days of hiking. There's no TV, which feels like a good idea here. The only downside is the Wi-Fi isn't great, but you could turn that into a plus and get rid of Wi-Fi altogether. A great place to unwind.

We were lucky to extend our stay after booking two nights. It's a quiet spot with a stunning view, and there are lots of nearby routes for walking and cycling. The apartment is spacious and beautiful, with stylish furnishings, a separate kitchen, and a wonderful shower. It also has its own entrance and terrace. A lovely place if you're looking for peace and quiet.
