The extra charges really spoiled this stay for me. I only saw the breakdown of the bill too late, or I would NOT have booked: €400 for cleaning, €10 in service charges, €160 for bed linen, and €60 for bath towels. €630 on top of the rent is absurd and wildly disproportionate. When I raised it with the landlady, she said the cleaners had spent a long time there and that €400 was the usual charge. On Monday morning, it turned out we hadn't made the beds because we didn't know we were supposed to. My daughter was still there and was told to make them, in a very unfriendly way. We stayed at "the place" in Leende from Friday afternoon to Monday morning with my family. The house itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated, fully equipped, comfortable, and roomy enough for 8 adults and 2 toddlers. I do have a few other complaints: there should be more window screens, including a screen door, because there were always at least 100 flies inside. The mattresses on the upper floors also need replacing. Sleeping in a hole is no fun. For all these reasons, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A REAL PITY!!

Right on the edge of the village, with a great view across the horse pasture. We loved the sunny terrace and the big fire pit, which made for a warm, sociable spot.

We went with family and had a really good time. Such a beautiful place.
